There’s something about a Sunday morning...

The slower pace. The coffee before church. An open Bible. A little more time to sit with God before the rest of the world starts asking for your attention. It’s the feeling Sunday Mornings was built around. But we never wanted it to exist only on Sundays.

Sunday All Summer is about taking that feeling with you, not just on Sundays.

To the beach.
On the plane.
To your morning matcha run.
Poolside.
To Bible study with a friend.
And everywhere in between.

Because summer has a way of taking us out of our routines. We travel. We stay out later. Our mornings look different. We spend more time away from home. But our time with God doesn't have to stay behind with our routine, and neither does His Word.

That's really what this campaign is about.

Not carrying your Bible because it's something beautiful to be seen with, but because it's something worth bringing with you. Something worth opening.

We created Sunday Mornings Bible covers to make carrying His Word easier, while protecting the book that matters most through all the places life takes it. And this summer, we're taking ours everywhere. From sandy mornings and long drives to matcha dates, hotel rooms and afternoons by the pool.

Because maybe Sunday morning isn't just a time or a place, it's something we can carry with us.

THE WORD: WHAT WE'RE READING

Verse for the campaign that I keep coming back to: 

Mark 16:15- ^"He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

A very literal "GO"... 

Jesus didn’t tell us to keep our faith tucked away in the places where it feels comfortable. He told us to go.

Into our workplaces. The strangers at coffee shops. The people we keep seeing at the airport. Our everyday routines. Be bold about your faith. Start the conversations. Just GO! 

 

CURRENTLY PLAYING:

DAISIES- JUSTIN BIEBER.

For windows down on the way to hang out with friends, to getting ready alone at 5pm. This has been our Summer go to. (And yes, we still love music outside of worship- mindfully of course). 

 

 

 

OUR SUMMER UNIFORM:

HATS. Seriously. We can't get enough of taking our bible outside whether its laying out and getting a tan, or heading to Malibu. Nothing beats the cute hat + bible cover combo.

 

 

 

WHERE WE'RE EATING:

Sushi. Handroll bars + homemade crudo to be specific. 

Our Sunday evening recipe was salmon belly and tuna toro. Sauce: coconut aminos, yuzu juice, and a dash of Truff jalepeno hot sauce. Toppings: Jalepenos, white onion, green onion, Furikake, and the sauce!

 

 

 

 

THE SUNDAY ORDER:

Iced Matcha Latte with whole milk, sweetened with maple syrup, and a dash of cinnamon and sea salt. 

You can make this at home too...it's perfection.
